Turning out to be an odd week!

I decided to try and make an effort to post more on this here blog thing. I guess those of you who do bother to come over here are getting bored of seeing just the one post every month or so. There is actually someone who reads this isn't there?

Anyway, it's only Tuesday and already it's turning out to be an odd week. Not because of anything in particular happening, well except Saturday but that's another story, and not one I'll be sharing on here (that's got ya wondering ain't it ;) ). Then last night, Monday, something just felt different.

Whether it was the fact I'd spent a couple of hours ironing earlier on and the steam and got to me, or the distinct lack of alcohol, I don't know. But something seemed different! Only problem is, for the life of me I can't work out what it is.

Then this morning, one of the temps we currently have with us at work got some great news that he'd been offered a permanent position following a interview last week! He was describing what the job is, who he'll be dealing with, and suddenly I felt really useless. Don't get me wrong, I'm really chuffed for the guy, as he's a hard working intelligent chap, but here I am, essentially pushing paper all day long, answering dumbass emails that in the long run mean feck all, and for what? A decent paycheck granted, but that's it! I'm 28, doing the job that a school leaver could do with a few months coaching. Oh the pride!

Somehow I see this turning into some kind of highs and lows week at this rate.

Now I don't really know what else to write.
