Two posts in two days, what the hell is going on!

I've had a few ideas floating around my head for a while now on various little projects I want to have a go at, and hopefulyl over the next few weeks I'll get chance to give at least one of them a go.

It started a while back when my Mum gave me her old Camcorder, we're talking tapes here, not digital. After viewing a number of different movies over the internet (no, not porn!) it got me thinking more and more as to what I can do. Looking at it, I have all the equipment, a basic idea for a couple of films, it's just a case of applying the time and imagination to get them done now.

Whilst I'd love to make some epic tale of this that and the other, imagine something short, minutes in length, rather than a four hour tale. Let's be honest, you'd all get bored shitless! Some of you reading this may remember my very early attempt using GTA Vice City. Well my new concepts are quite different from that, although one does use a game but it's more a musical piece and the other is a live action idea. I can't say much about them becuase they really aren't formed to well right now, and I frankly don't know exactly how they are going to turn out when I do them, it's that rough! If anyone is interested in seeing my first go, then just leave a comment and I'll see if I can find it, just don't expect much, as it was put together one afternoon in about 4/5 hours.

Not since my younger days of jamming with an old mate of mine have I had such a creative urge, if you will. Maybe it's out of some desire to leave something behind, or I just have an unfulfilled desire to be a directing genius. Legacy could be taking it a bit far, but it'd be nice to make something that touches one person in some way, makes them think. What about doesn't matter. We're not talking leaving some kind of legacy on film here, that's just pretencious, but it could prove quite a cool way of expression. There's so much that I hear and see that I want to use; music, film, people doing what they do, mundane shit, exciting events, anything that grabs my attention. Maybe it comes of being a worrier, spending time watching other people, questioning stuff that doesn't always need to be questioned. Maybe I'll find out when I get round to doing this stuff!
