Hello 2006!

Let me start off, this my first post of 2006, a very Happy New Year to each and everyone of you reading this!

What a year it's already shaping up to be, as not only is our house move on the cards to happen this month (and long bloody last!) but in a few days time I have an interview for a new job! Probably not exciting news for you, but when you consider I've been stuck in a dead end nothing of a job for the past three years, you'd understand why this is a good opportunity for me.

However, the day of the interview is going to be one of those bitter-sweet things. Apart from the obvious nerves everyone gets on interview days, it'll also mark the anniversary of my Dad passing away. New Year is always a bit weird as a result, but I'm sure he'll be there with me!

More exciting news is also on the horizon for my fellow gamers out there. No, I'm not giving everyone who reads this a free Xbox 360! However, after discussions with my good friend and colleague Father Fil (who has his own blog on blogspot.com as well) I'm pleased to announce that plans are in the works for an all-new gaming-based Podcast.

Now, things are in the very early stages of planning right now, but I'm excited to say I shall be working on this new project with Fil, plus we are currently looking to get another gentleman on-board soon (if you're reading this, you know who you are ;) ). As things start coming together I'll keep you all updated via this very blog.
